World War 2

Japanese

The Japanese people come over to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii trying to destroy it. They ruined aircrafts and killed many many people. Hitler wanted to takeover Poland and that's were people said World War 2 first started. Hitler wanted the British to let the Nazi's do what they wanted. They fought for a year and the British defeated them. The Japanese wanted to take over China for their resources.

Guadalcanal

The United States tried to move the Japanese back when they took over the little islands. The United States went to Guadalcanal and when they got there, they started to fight. About nine-hundred Japanese ships were destroyed, twenty-three Japanese aircrafts were destroyed, and thousands of Japanese people were killed or wounded. Almost two thousand American people were killed and thousands of others were wounded or seriously ill. The Japanese reinforcements and the American reinforcements came to Guadalcanal and fought. The Japanese took action over night. The soldiers didn't on Guadalcanal didn't know if the Japanese or the Americans were winning. They didn't know whose ships were whose. The Americans got them to stop trying to take over the little islands. The Japanese soldiers that were still in Guadalcanal weren't going to be taken by the Americans until later. During this wait, some of them died and their reinforcements didn't come to supply them so some starved to death. When the Americans went to the little islands, they didn't go directly to them, they had to skip some because they were so occupied by the Japanese so they went to the ones that were less occupied by them.

France

The United States were trying to push back the germen back to Germany. The United States used gliders to get their equipment in France but the germen put long pointy stick in the landing field so the gliders would tare apart and might even shred the people in the gliders. There were some problems with the gliders. They didn't make any noise like aircrafts with engines did but they were very fragile and flammable. When the gliders were about to crash, the equipment that they were holding moved downward and crushed the people and pilots in the glider. When they got near the Omaha Beach, the germen started shooting at their ships before they even landed on the beach. Some ships sunk, drowning the people aboard. Some others managed to escape the sinking ships, but eventually either got shot at or drowned from so much weight from the equipment they had on them.

Nazi

The Nazi's planned to take over France. The Nazi's were planning to destroy the source for the United States soldiers so they wouldn't have any thing to fight back with, or food so they would starve to death. The Nazi's were cutting off all the supply lines for the U.S. soldiers and the soldiers couldn't fall back because they were surrounded by Germen. The Germen were going to attack the U.S. soldiers by surprise, coming from two different paths. The U.S. was so sure that the Germen were defeated, that they payed no attention. The Germen started shooting at 5am in the morning, taking the U.S. by surprise just as they hoped. The Germen captured about 100 or so prisoners and executed about 86. The U.S. heard of this and took revenge on the Germen prisoners they captured and were ordered to kill them. The soldiers were horrified. The U.S. sent ten planes to go and drop off food and equipment so they could fight back and have more food. Some of the the medics had to make horrible choices. When they walked pass a wounded soldier that they knew would not survive, they were told not to stop and comfort them because then they wouldn't make it either. They felt horrible. Some wounds were so bad that the medics couldn't help them at all. One of the U.S.'s snippers was stretching his legs, and a German snipper shot him in the leg. The shot snipper remembered picking up a German aid kit from the field so he treated his own wound. When he got to the medics they asked "Who treated this wound?" and he replied "I did". They offered him the opportunity to become a medic and from then on he never held a gun again. Instead, he helped treat the wounded soldiers.

War Ending

The Soviet Union went to Berlin, Germany and bombed everything. People were killed and buildings were destroyed. Hitler then left his people in charge, then he committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth. The United States then went to village to village to the concentration camps. There were millions of dead prisoners. Out of four million prisoners, two out of three were killed. The prisoners put up signs saying "Welcome United States Save Us". The U.S. soldiers were horrified. They saw a building on the hill that was a insane asylum. The people that were in the insane asylum were being experimented. Elbert Einstein wrote a letter to president Franklin Roosevelt telling him that the German were tying to invent the atomic bomb as well and they U.S. didn't want that to happen. The United States went to Hiroshima and dropped an atomic bomb on then. thousands died within a second. Others died within days and years later. Four days later they dropped another atomic bomb on Nagasaki killing thousands more.
